Pics from the last few fleas - highlights include deco period pieces, Trifari pendant, ivory earrings, lucite/silver bag, chrysoprase!,
Found a great shop in Haddonfield: Pure Couture. Walked away with some great items including a bamboo vintage Gucci and Pourchet-Paris leather bag.
I’m about as “greenie” as the next person…I recycle, compost, donate clothes and books, and try to turn off the lights when I leave the room….I’m about average or maybe slightly better than average -hard to say. Either way, the one thing I am passionate about is finding vintage, pre-owned items, usually jewelry that needs new life, bags that have a second life, and clothing that may need a rebirth. What better way to recycle!
After relentless work and family travel I was happy to spend last weekend at the local flea!!! Great, great deals from the vendors who know me by now and were willing to negotiate on the prices, also my negotiation skills have gotten better.
A few finds:
One of my favorite finds from this past weekend’s flea was a Crown Trifari ring. The Green stone is made of Lucite and is surrounded by Rhinestone baguettes and Rhinestone clusters. I cannot tell what the metal is made from, there is no silver or gold stamps, so probably not a precious metal. Here are some close ups!
And a very blurry pic of the maker stamp:
